Artist Patti Ferrara from Kistatom, NY lives in a land of Rip Van Winkle and home of the Hudson River School of Art. Always inspired by her natural surroundings, she is an award-winning multi-media artist who works in oils, watercolors, printmaking, and whatever else makes her happy to create. From mini monotypes to museum murals, Patti has recently designed the rubbing medallions along the Hudson River School Art Trail for the Thomas Cole National Historic Site.
For this special group (Ulster Co. Art Assn.), Patti will be discussing the process of the Old Masters Technique of painting and glazing, or Hudson River School style. She is looking forward to speaking to members and guests of the UCAA club on Tuesday Sept. 3, 2019 at 7 pm at the Senior Center, 207 Market Street, Saugerties, New York.
